Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pola asuh autoritatif dan harapan lulus tepat waktu terhadap kegigihan akademik mahasiswa penerima beasiswa penuh. Dilakukan pada 87 mahasiswa S1 penerima beasiswa penuh yang dipilih berdasarkan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan skala kegigihan akademik, pola asuh autoritatif, dan harapan lulus tepat waktu. Temuan menunjukkan korelasi yang kuat (p = 0.000; R = 0.771; R2 = 0.595) antara pola asuh autoritatif, harapan lulus tepat waktu, dan kegigihan akademik dengan sumbangan efektif sebesar 59.5%. Hasil hipotesis minor menunjukkan hubungan positif yang sangat signifikan antara pola asuh autoritatif dan kegigihan akademik (R = 0.576, p < 0.01), serta hubungan positif yang sangat signifikan antara harapan lulus tepat waktu dan kegigihan akademik (R = 0.733, p < 0.01). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa antara ketiga variabel memiliki hubungan positif yang sangat signifikan.

The Hadith of Gabriel is a hadith that contains a description of the learning process involving the Prophet Muhammad, the Angel Gabriel, and the companions of Prophet Muhammad. Various components of learning such as materials, methods, and islamic ethics can be seen both explicitly and implicitly in this hadith. This study aims to determine the adab of learners and educators contained in the Hadith of Gabriel. This literature study uses the content analysis method. The result of research from the understanding of this hadith is that learners should wear good clothes, come to science even though the distance is far, glorify educators and science, study directly to competent educators, have interest and perseverance in learning, not shy to ask, help each other learners, choose subjects from the most important, and not answering questions with “I already know” answers. Meanwhile, as an educator should be humble, not shy to say “I don`t know”, and using right methods in teaching

Grit is a non-cognitive factor that is crucial in achieving success in education. The purpose of this study is to verify differences in grit and its two aspects (consistency and perseverance) between gender and ethnicity in Islamic higher education students. The study also verified the correlation between parents' education levels, family economic background, grit total, consistency of interest, and perseverance of effort. This research is field research with a quantitative approach. The participants amounted to 267 students of Antasari State Islamic University. Convenience techniques and snowballing sampling determined participants. Researchers used descriptive statistics, the Mann-Whitney U, Kruskal Wallis H, and Spearman's Rank Correlation test to analyze the data. The results showed no significant differences in total grit levels and its aspects between gender and ethnicity (Sig.>0.005). Dayak ethnic minorities are more persistent and grittier than the majority ethnicity, Banjar, but not significant. Parental education does not correlate with total grit and both aspects. The influence of gender, ethnicity, and socio-economic background on grit is also determined by the type of education students attend.
