This study investigates the factors influencing social entrepreneurial intentions among youth in Namibia and explores their relationship with social entrepreneurship. The research adopts a qualitative and quantitative approach. Data was collected through google form which was sent via Namibian WhatsApp group in India. 69 students participated in the study, where 42 were females and 22 males. The data are analysed using factor analysis and regression analysis. The findings show that among young Namibians, self-efficacy and prior experience are major predictors of social entrepreneurship goals. In addition, when asked about the obstacles preventing them from launching social initiatives, respondents stated that 68% cited restricted access to cash as the key barrier, 7% mentioned a lack of self-esteem and competence in the area of social entrepreneurship, and 4% mentioned a lack of support networks. These findings offer valuable insights into the primary factors influencing social entrepreneurship in the Namibian context, providing guidance for policymakers and practitioners aiming to promote social entrepreneurship among youth. Additionally, the study recommends that higher education institutions incorporate social entrepreneurship into their curricula across various subjects. By providing insights to educators, policymakers, and youth, this research underscores the positive impact of social entrepreneurship on communities, contributes to the ongoing discourse, and raises awareness about social entrepreneurship among young individuals.

The increase in the unemployment rate in Banyuwangi Regency is caused by a lack of job opportunities. So that entrepreneurship is the best choice in overcoming the lack of jobs. This study intends to examine the effect of the entrepreneurial ecosystem on students' entrepreneurial intentions both directly and indirectly with self-efficacy as a mediating variable. This research is included in the type of quantitative research using an explanatory research approach. Data was collected through an online questionnaire survey using a Google form which was distributed to Darussalam Blokagung students. The hypothesized relationship was tested with data collected from 259 respondents with a sampling technique using the Isaac and Michael formula. The Analysis Tool uses SmartPLS 3.0. The results of the study prove that the entrepreneurial ecosystem influences students' self-efficacy positively and significantly. Entrepreneurial ecosystem and partial self-efficacy have a direct effect with a significant positive direction on entrepreneurial intentions. Furthermore, this study found that self-efficacy has a mediating effect in a significant positive way between the entrepreneurial ecosystem and entrepreneurial intentions. The findings of this study have several practical implications for the management of the Darussalam Blokagung Islamic Boarding School in entrepreneurship education. This study also contributes to the emerging literature on the entrepreneurial ecosystem, self-efficacy and entrepreneurial intention.

Visi dari Universitas YPPI Rembang untuk menjadi kampus yang mampu mencetak wirausahan-wirausahawan muda mendorong munculnya kebijakan terkait Pendidikan kewirausahaan bagi mahasiswa. Melalui kegiatan Pendidikan kewirausahaan mahasiswa memperoleh bekal untuk menjadi wirausahawan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh Pendidikan kewirausahaan terhadap intensi berwirausaha dengan efikasi diri sebagai variabel mediasi pada mahasiswa Universitas YPPI Rembang. Sampling jenuh menjadi teknik sampling yang dipilih pada penelitian ini. Jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 83 mahasiswa Universitas YPPI Rembang yang telah mengambil mata kuliah Entrepreneurial Skill. Structural Equation Model dengan menerapkan pendekatan variance based sem menjadi metode analisis data yang digunakan. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa efikasi diri berperan sebagai variabel mediasi sempurna pada pengaruh antara pendidikan kewirausahaan terhadap intensi berwirausaha mahasiswa. Pendidikan kewirausahaan yang diterima oleh mahasiswa tidak berpengaruh secara nyata terhadap intensi berwirausaha yang ada di kalangan mahasiswa. Efikasi diri berpengaruh signifikan terhadap intensi berwirausaha Universitas YPPI Rembang hendaknya semakin meningkatkan pengembangan pendidikan kewirausahaan guna mendorong munculnya intensi berwirausaha pada kalangan mahasiswa. Pengembangan ini dapat dilakukan dengan menambah desain dan metode Pendidikan kewirausahaan yang diterima oleh para mahasiswa Universitas YPPI Rembang melalui pengembangan kurikulum pembelajaran mata kuliah kewirausahaan dan penyelenggaraan kuliah tamu yang menarik dirancang oleh kampus guna meningkatkan intensi wirausaha yang ada pada mahasiswa.
