The RNA–RNA base pairing potential of human Dicer and Ago2 proteins

Abstract: The ribonuclease Dicer produces microRNAs (miRNAs) and small interfering RNAs that are handed over to Ago proteins to control gene expression by targeting complementary sequences within transcripts.
