The Research on Technology for Increasing the Permeability of Coal Seam by Impacting with High-Energy Air

Abstract: The permeability of coal is very important parameter on gas extraction, but it is difficult to get good effect by conventional method on low air permeability coal seam. Based on above reason, we put forward the research on technology for increasing the permeability of coal seam by impacting with high energy air, as for showing the effect we make experiment in Xin’an mine. The data display it increased to 155.96% of single hole maximum discharge, the average is 112.73%. The best result in study is the position … Show more

“…Shao et al 21 studied high-pressure gas blasting mechanisms and the blockage of broken coal using a high-pressure gas blasting simulation experimental system. Zhao, 22 Wang et al, 23 Chen et al, 24 and Gao 25 revealed the mechanisms of liquid CO 2 blasting for permeability improvement and its applications. Zhou et al 26,27 studied the effective radius of liquid CO 2 blasting in a single hole using numerical simulation and calculated related drilling parameters for multi-drilling continuous blasting conditions.…”
