“…Многие авторы отмечают, что после длительной когнитивной де-ятельности испытуемые себя чувствуют намного хуже, чем до нее (Wijesuriya et al, 2007) . Так, Трейо обнаружил, что по-сле трех часов арифметических задач субъективная оценка по шкалам энер-гичность и спокойствие значимо сни-жаются, а значение по шкале усталость -значимо возрастает .…”

“…Unfortunately, there is a lack of a "gold standard" definition of what constitutes fatigue (Craig, Tran, Wijesuriya, & Boord, 2006;Shen et al, 2006), resulting in terms, such as fatigue, sleepiness and drowsiness, often being used interchangeably (Wijesuriya, Tran, & Craig, 2007). However, fatigue is defined that it is a complex phenomenon involving physical, psychosocial and behavioral processes (Shen et al, 2006;Wijesuriya et al, 2007). Fatigue includes feelings of tiredness or drowsiness and is known to involve performance decrements resulting from reduced alertness that impairs both capability and willingness to perform a task (Grandjean, 1988), as well as reduced cognitive and psychomotor skills (Craig et al, 2006).…”

“…While fatigue is thought to be associated with subjective aspects of drowsiness or tiredness, research findings have shown that anxiety, depressive mood and negative sympathetic arousal are significantly associated with fatigue (Craig et al, 2006;Wijesuriya et al, 2007). Furthermore, research has suggested that fatigue can be explained by a two-level processing model in which physiological factors tap into lower level autonomic processing, while negative psychological factors such as anxiety tap into higher-level "executive" cognitive processes (Craig et al, 2006;Verwey & Zaidel, 2000;Wijesuriya et al, 2007).…”

“…[6][7][8][9][10][11] Fatigue can be considered an internal distractor because it diminishes the alertness of the driver. 12 Fatigue can be monitored by measuring facial expressions such as percent eye closure, eye closure duration, blink frequency, nodding frequency, face pose, fixed gaze and yawing.…”
