The purpose of the study was to analyze the effect of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) integrated with local wisdom on Higher-Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) and students' scientific attitudes. Local wisdom used is a tourist objects on the island of Lombok. The topic of learning is the interaction of living things on Senggigi Beach, Sesaot Forest, and Mount Rinjani. The research method used is quantitative with a posttest only control group design. The population of this study includes 6 classes with 172 7th grade students at SMP Negeri 16 Mataram. Samples were taken using cluster random sampling technique, class 7C became the experimental class (32 students), while class 7F became the control class (21 students). The HOTS test instrument is in the form of an essay while the student's scientific attitude instrument is in the form of an observation sheet. Statistical analysis used one-way MANOVA and analyzed using SPSS 25 application. Hypothesis test results showed differences in HOTS and students' scientific attitudes with PBL models and conventional learning. The mean of HOTS and scientific attitude in the experimental class is superior to the control class. The test of between-subjects effects for the HOTS variable and scientific attitude shows differences in HOTS and scientific attitudes due to differences in learning models. Therefore, the PBL model integrated with local wisdom has an effect on HOTS and students' scientific attitudes.

The management of learning resources is based on educational information technology, and the interactive learning method can improve teaching efficiency in colleges and universities. However, the diversity of resources leads to differences in teaching levels and attributes. To further improve students’ utilization of learning resources and the level of teaching in colleges and universities, the impact of online teaching using interactive learning methods on the utilization of learning resources was explored, and the application of database teaching in online teaching platform was analyzed. Based on this platform, the structure of an interactive learning-based intelligent Q&A module was established to determine the impact of online teaching on the utilization of learning resources using interactive learning methods. Results indicate that the proposed method can effectively save students learning time while improving learning efficiency. The proportion of students who are not interested in online teaching using interactive learning methods is reduced to 0%. The application of the method described in this study is beneficial for enhancing students’ interest in online teaching using interactive learning methods, improving their learning outcomes, and increasing their academic achievements.

Learning process based on local potential has not been widely used in education, even though it is known that integrating local potential in education will make it easier for students to master subject matter because certain objects or phenomena can be seen directly. This research aims to analyze the local potential of Lake Toba waters to be used as a learning resource, especially regarding biodiversity topic. The research was carried out using an exploratory method to analyze and select various data sources related to the potential of Lake Toba as a learning source with secondary data types. The data obtained is then compiled, analyzed and concluded to obtain research results. The research results show that Lake Toba as one of the local potentials in the North Sumatra region has met the criteria required as a learning resource including the clarity of potential, alignment with educational goals, precision in targeting, transparent exploration guidelines, and a clear definition of anticipated benefits. Thus, it can be concluded that the local potential of Lake Toba can be used as a learning resource on biodiversity material in class X SMA/MA.
