The prevalence of Helicobacter pylori in perforated peptic ulcer disease

Abstract: Background: Although the role of Helicobacter pylori infection in noncomplicated peptic ulcer disease has been definitively established, the precise relationship between the organism and ulcer complications is doubtful.
