Abstract:Background: Pharyngitis, scarlet fever, and rheumatic fever are of the major infectious problems caused by Streptococcus pyogen. Emergence of antibiotic-resistant strains makes such infection, its rheumatic valvular disease, and glomerulonephritis complications a serious clinical challenge especially in children.
