The Parameters of Physical Development, Dynamics of Laboratory Tests and Death Rate in Hiv-Positive and Hiv-Exposed Children

Abstract: We have performed the retrospective comparison of the parameters of physical development (circumference of head and chest, body weight and length), dynamics of laboratory tests, death rate in 103 HIV-positive and 77 HIV-exposed children. The majority of the studied parameters were within the normal range. The differences between the groups revealed in the follow up might be used for HIV status prognosis.
