The Paradox of a Radiculous Maxillary Second Premolar: A Case Report

Abstract: The major causes for persistent intracanal in fection are unfilled canals and incomplete obturation resulting in endodontic failure. A thorough knowledge of the root canal anatomy and accurate interpretation of preoperative radiographs are essential aspects of endodontic therapy. Quite often the third root or canal is missed as it is not visible under normal vision.
