The method and structural scheme of an information-measuring system for determining the parameters of objects' movements (technological equipment in the quarry for extracting block natural stone) have been proposed. A distinctive feature of time video sequences containing images of measured objects is their adaptation and adjustment in accordance with the intensity of movement and accuracy requirements for measurement results. Structural and software-algorithmic methods were also applied for improving the accuracy of measurements of motion parameters, namely: complexation of two measuring channels and exponential smoothing of digital references. One of the measuring channels is based on a digital video camera, the second is based on an accelerometer mounted on an object and two integrators. Exponential smoothing makes it possible to take into consideration the previous countdowns of movement parameters with weight coefficients. That ensures accounting for the existing patterns of movement of the object and reducing the errors when measuring the parameters of movement by (1.4...1.6) times. The resulting solutions have been implemented in the form of an information and measurement system. The technological process of extracting blocks of natural stone in the quarry was experimentally investigated using a diamond-rope installation. Based on the contactless measurement of motion parameters, it is possible to ensure control over this process and improve the quality of blocks made of natural stone. Based on the experimental study of measurement errors, recommendations were given for the selection of adaptive parameters of a video sequence, namely the size of images and the value of the inter-frame interval. In addition, methods for the software-algorithmic processing of measuring information were selected, specifically exponential smoothing and averaging the coordinates of the contour of an object, measured in 30 adjacent lines of the image

This article is devoted to the conceptual development of the transition from drill and blast excavation to a non-blasting method for the preparation of hard rock before excavation at construction material deposits. The scientifi c and technical literature on the problems in the blasting of hard rock in preparation for excavation is analysed. A classifi cation of mining equipment for the non-blasting development of a rock mass for excavation has been developed, taking into account the nature of the operation of mining equipment. The concept of the transition from drill and blast excavation to nonblasting methods in the preparation of mined rock in non-metallic material quarries is presented. The research results of the parameter determination of the elements of the system for the development of non-blasting equipment at a limestone quarry are presented. The economic effi ciency of a hydraulic excavator with a ripper tooth for developing limestone with a strength of up to 30 MPa is established.

Purpose. Determination of ecological patterns for vegetation cover formation in the mining waste dumps of the Lviv-Volyn coal basin based on the ecotopes floristic composition analysis of waste heaps reclaimed and non-reclaimed. Methods. The phytoindication of ecological regimes is used based on the ecological parameters of herbaceous species of vegetation covering the mining waste dumps; data retrieval techniques (Data Mining methods); plant species multivariate ordination based on the main components analysis (Principle Component Analysis); statistical processing of ecotopes ecological parameters of the mining waste dumps. Findings. A phytoindication assessment has been performed of the conditions in the places of growing 8 ecological-cenotic groups and 5 subgroups of plant species representing various ecotopes of reclaimed and non-reclaimed waste dumps of mines according to nine parameters: Tmthermal regime, Knclimate continentality, Omombroclimate, Crcryoclimate, Hdsoil moisture, Trsalt content, Rcsoil acidity, Ntmineral nitrogen, Lcluminosity-shadowing regime. It has been found that with decreasing parameters of climate humidity, shadowing in cenosis and soil moisture, the indexes of thermal regime, continentality, soil pH and salt content increase. It is recommended to present the typological scheme of the vegetation covering the mining waste dumps in the form of a quadrangle, in the centre of which meadow and synanthropic vegetation is located, and in the cornersboreal and psammophilous vegetation; nemoral-forest; hydrophilous; meadowsteppe and calcetrophilic. Originality. It has been revealed that the vegetation covering the mining waste dumps of the Lviv-Volyn coal basin is characterized by an ecological-cenotic areal. It has been assessed on the basis of the species ordination on the axes of complex environmental gradients, and the center of this areal is occupied by meadow and synanthropic species, which demonstrate greatest sustainability under the conditions of mining waste dumps. The most vulnerable species are meadow-steppe, calciphilous, hydrophilous vegetation, the ecological-cenotic areal of which is characterized by the location on the periphery of the general vegetation areal of mining waste dumps. Practical implications. The ecological parameters of flora species make it possible to determine their position in the ecological-cenotic areal of vegetation covering the mining waste dumps of the Lviv-Volyn coal basin, as well as to predict their sustainability and dynamics.
