Kalsbeek & Cormane (1967) reported that the LE clot test was negative in their 12 patients, whereas the ANA test was positive in 3. “…4 The prevalence of positive LBT is much higher in lesional than in non-lesional skin, as well as in clinically normal sun-exposed skin than in clinically normal non-sun-exposed skin.
