Maltby (1995) administered the Obsessional Symptom Scale from the Sandler-Hazari Obsessionality Inventory (Sandler & Hazari, 1960) alongside a measure of frequency of church attendance among samples of English (n ϭ 172) and US adults (n ϭ 164).
