“…After the successful eco‐friendly reformation in the management and communication system, eco‐friendly purchasing (EFP), green design (GD), consumers' green cooperation (CGC), and recovery of the firm's investment (RFI) can be executed (Green et al, 2019; Zhu et al, 2008). Considering regional potential challenges, firms should use a combination of strategies: combustion‐emissions reduction (Cadez et al, 2019; Jahanshahi et al, 2023), process‐emissions reduction (Cadez et al, 2019; Jahanshahi et al, 2023); and alliance (Sun & Zhong, 2023) to strengthen LESCM practices. Establishing EFP and GD policies by applying combustion‐emissions reduction and process‐emissions reduction strategies, focal firms can improve low‐emission practices, such as establishing green local or international suppliers, using climate‐friendly raw materials, green labelling, adopting low‐emission logistics, decreasing carbon‐friendly fuel consumptions, and low‐carbon business approaches (Nureen et al, 2023).…”
