“…Cu in Pd-based alloys appears to promote crevice corrosion [35], but even the most recent Pd-based alloys release limited amounts of Pd into artificial saliva [36]. A study of Pd-Ag binary alloys showed that Pd inhibits the corrosion of Ag via an enrichment of Pd at the surface post-Ag corrosion unless the abundance of Ag in the alloys reaches critical levels of approximately 50 at% [37].
