To promote innovativeness and efficiency, an increasing number of firms have adopted New ways of working (NWW). However, it is not clear what effect NWW has on innovation-related outcomes, such as intrapreneurial behaviour. Therefore, we provide a first investigation on the relation between the facets of NWW and intrapreneurial behaviour, while testing transformational leadership and co-worker social interaction as mediators. We use a sample of 254 employees of the Dutch working population and apply the Preacher and Hayes’ (Behav Res Methods 40(3):879–891, 2008) bootstrap method for multiple mediation to test our hypotheses. We find that NWW facets time- and location-independent work and management on output are positively related to intrapreneurial behaviour. In addition, we find that the relation between a freely accessible open workplace and intrapreneurial behaviour is mediated by transformational leadership. However, we find no relationship between co-worker social interaction and intrapreneurial behaviour and thus no mediating role for social interaction. Our research adds to the budding literature on the effects of NWW and to the literature on the determinants of intrapreneurial behaviour. We conclude that implementation of several NWW facets and a transformational leadership style could help foster intrapreneurial behaviour among employees, and that future research that further enhances the measurement of the NWW facets and investigates its configurational effects on intrapreneurial behaviour is welcome.

The study is devoted to the problem of analysis and forecasting of the effectiveness of the results of enterprises to ensure production and economic reserves to intensify innovation and investment development in the context of monitoring the state of their economic potential. It is the basis for the formation of endogenous and exogenous capabilities of the enterprise, aimed at achieving targeted results in each area of its activities. Creating favorable conditions for economic growth of enterprises based on the intensification of innovation and investment development requires the effective implementation of production programs using the financial component of economic potential. Based on the analysis of methodological tools for evaluating the activities of a mining and processing enterprise, formed a comprehensive methodology for quantitative and qualitative assessment of actual and projected values of performance indicators of the enterprise. It is based on determining the statistical probability of achieving a positive level of the indicator, the probability of its falling into a given interval of deviation from the recommended allowable values and an integrated assessment of the financial component of economic potential. Approbation of the developed technique is carried out within the limits of the express analysis of effective indicators of efficiency of activity of mining and processing enterprises. The results showed that with high reliability of the forecast (more than 0.85), the recommended values of the level of margin to achieve the desired efficiency are in the range of 8÷10 %. Within a sufficient level of reliability of the forecast (not less than 0.75), the recommended values of this margin are 10÷24 %. In this case, the integrated indicator of the assessment of the financial component should be more than 0.3

The improvement of theoretical and methodological approaches to the formation of innovativeness of business processes of enterprises has been carried out. A model of innovativeness of business processes has been formed, which takes into account the principles, goals, methods of improving the management of business processes and the factors of influence on them. The main directions of the formation of an effective business model of an aviation enterprise based on the innovativeness of business processes are investigated and strategic directions of its provision are proposed. At the same time, the following aspects of enhancing the innovative activity of an aviation enterprise are highlighted as: the influence of the external and internal environment, innovative activity, analysis of the innovative potential and innovativeness of business processes. An integrated approach to assessing the effectiveness of the business model of an aviation enterprise based on the innovativeness of business processes has been formed. This approach allows to provide the necessary level of innovative flexibility of the aviation enterprise and independence in the application of innovative business processes. The author has carried out a practical implementation of the applied approach at aviation enterprises. The study made it possible to identify the most important business processes for aviation enterprises. These include: the level of support (provision) of innovation, the turnover ratio of current assets, the provision of material and technical resources. As a result of the assessment, these business processes have the highest scores (4.55; 4.43 and 4.26, respectively). The assessment of the financial stability of aviation enterprises in the market was carried out and the indicators of the assessment were calculated. An integral indicator of the financial stability of aviation enterprises has been determined, according to which the problems of the effective functioning of Ukrainian aviation enterprises have been identified. At the same time, small aviation enterprises suffer losses and are characterized by a low level of financial stability
