“…Features at 2990, 2936 and 2910 cm À1 (C-H stretching of methyl and methylene groups, n C-H ) 41 conrm the presence of coordinated alkoxo or alcohol species, while the IR bands between 580 and 680 cm À1 are related to Nb-O stretching of NbO 6 octahedra coupled with the bending vibrations of PO 4 groups. 37 Moreover, all dried gels exhibit a broad absorption band in the range 3000-3750 cm À1 centred at about 3450 cm À1 with two shoulders at about 3640 and 3240 cm À1 .
