Research has shown that teachers' personality is related to their teaching practices. However, few such research has been conducted in the preschool settings. This research adopted a cross-sectional quantitative approach to examine how preschool teachers' personality related to their beliefs of Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP). 544 preschool teachers were randomly selected to complete Teacher Beliefs and Practices Survey and the Myer-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). Findings showed that the personality type profiles of preschool teachers are characterized predominantly by Sensing-Feeling-Judging. Among all personality types, extraverted and intuitive teachers tended to show higher scores in DAP beliefs and practice than that of the introverted teachers. Analyses from regression findings also indicated that the Extroversion-Introversion dimension predicted significantly teachers' beliefs and practices of DAP. In addition, teachers' teaching experiences in association with personality predicted their DAP practices, suggesting that there was an combined effect of teachers' personality and work experience in adopting DAP. Implication for school managers to provide professional development to support teachers in understanding and practicing DAP in preschools are discussed.

The purpose of this study is to provide an analysis to build teacher-learning climate through improvement of work engagement at teachers of public junior high school in Bandung. This research conducted to 109 respondents who actively teach in public junior high school in Bandung. Data collecting with simple random sampling. The results showed a positive correlation between teacher learning climate and work engagement. Engagement to their job will increase their perception to learn at school. This illustrates the efforts of teacher development in climate learning will improve the work of teachers in public junior high school in Bandung, so that will support efforts to improve the education of a good quality of human resources.

Abstract-Illiterate people in Bazartete Sub District -Liquica District -Timor Leste are estimated more than 42 percent of the total population of 27,115 people (2015). Many efforts have been taken, such as by involving Fatumasi Community Learning Center (CLC) in implementing literacy education programs. Based on the initial assessment results, there were some problems in implementing literacy education at Fatumasi CLC. By taking case study, the purpose of the study is to describe factors that affect the sustainability of literacy education programs at Fatumasi CLC. Theory bases in the study are the concept of literacy education and community learning center. The study result has shown that factors that affect the sustainability of literacy education programs at Fatumasi CLC -Timor Leste had been; lack of dedication of teachers and education personnels, lack of motivation to learn and aspirations of learners, diversity language in the community, limited learning materials and limited community resources. The study concludes that literacy competencies is fundamental skills that should be mastered by each person to be more developed, independent and welfare, including communities in Timor Leste, especially in Bazartete Sub District.
