“…The first prospective observational study, completed by Oostveen et al [37] , used the Child-CAPTURE patient registry to examine 85 patients with mild psoriasis (PASI 7.0 ± 5.8) from 3 to 17 years old who were grouped into 3 treatment clusters. The mean CDLQI at baseline was 7.5 ± 5.0, which showed a significant mean decrease, thus an improvement of HRQL, of 2.7 points with treatment.…”

“…The mean CDLQI at baseline was 7.5 ± 5.0, which showed a significant mean decrease, thus an improvement of HRQL, of 2.7 points with treatment. The highest impact was in itch and sleep, with adolescents specifically reporting increased problems with clothes and sports [37] . Langley et al [24] also showed improvement of CDLQI scores in patients with moderate-to-severe psoriasis (mean PASI 18.5) treated with etanercept in a phase 3 randomized control trial.…”

“…The results showed that all psoriasis treatments contributed to a significant improvement in children's QoL, which was greatest with dithranol and systemic treatments. The highest positive impact with all treatments was observed on itching and sleep disturbances [115].…”

“…Two registries (Child-CAPTURE and DERMBIO) were found to include children with psoriasis who were treated with biologics. Child-CAPTURE (the Netherlands) contained seven children treated with etanercept, 90 but did not differentiate between biological and non-biological therapies in drug survival analyses. We identified from the 2014 annual report 91 by the DERMBIO (Denmark) registry that there are 37 children enrolled who are undergoing treatment with adalimumab, etanercept or ustekinumab, although data for this group were not reported separately.…”

“…Two registries were identified: Child-CAPTURE 90 (Netherlands) and DERMBIO 92 (Denmark). However, none of the published studies from these registries allowed the estimation of long-term withdrawal rates in individuals who are responders to treatment; in addition, the DERMBIO registry included only a small number of children.…”
