Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a pervasive developmental disorder that results in individuals having difficulties organizing behavior to be more focused. This study at to determine the effect of attention and self-regulation on children with ADHD through play therapy with puzzles. The design of this study was a non-equivalent control group design. The technique of taking the subject used purposive sampling and the research subjects were 12 ADHD children who were divided into 6 experimental groups and 6 control groups. The scale used to measure the pretest and post-test was the Indonesian Hyperactive Child Rating Scale to measure attention, and the Self Control Rating Scale to measure self-regulation. Results indicate a positive effect of attention improvement on self-regulation in children with ADHD through play puzzle therapy. The experimental group receiving puzzle play therapy had better self-regulation compared to the control group receiving no treatment.

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) affects the academic performance of youngsters. Children with ADHD struggle to remain focused during learning due to decreased attention and concentration. They are highly active and have trouble remembering teachers' instructions. Attention difficulties, focus disorders, and hyperactivity might hinder learning. This work aims to observe the impact of serious games with a platformer genre and puzzles titled "Tanji Adventure to the Diamond Temple" on the learning activities of kids with ADHD. The goal is to create a fun and engaging learning environment to boost the motivation and focus of those with ADHD. Game development process utilizes iterative prototyping. Each iteration yields a prototype that refines in the next iteration. The game was tested on children with ADHD by examining their behavior before and after playing to evaluate whether new game mechanics were necessary. The review procedure includes observing youngsters and interviewing teachers and involves specialists to evaluate its contents. The study confirms that the concentration of children with ADHD increase after playing the game. The game incorporates elements that help youngsters with ADHD concentrate and increase their attention span

Dewasa ini, penggunaan teknologi game dalam domain pembelajaran bagi anak dengan Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) mulai banyak bermunculan. Banyak penelitian dilakukan untuk membuktikan efektivitas penggunaan teknologi game dalam proses pembelajaran bagi anak dengan ADHD. Makalah ini melaporkan tinjauan literatur sistematis yang ditujukan untuk memetakan penggunaan teknologi game di bidang pembelajaran bagi anak dengan ADHD dan mengidentifikasi peta jalan penelitian di masa depan. Berdasarkan hasil eksplorasi terhadap literatur, yang didapatkan dengan kriteria inklusi yang digunakan, terpilih tiga puluh studi utama. Analisis yang dilakukan terhadap tiga puluh studi utama mengungkapkan pemetaan terhadap tujuan teknologi game, genre teknologi game, platform teknologi game, dan pengujian teknologi game. Hasil dari tinjauan literatur ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan teknologi game untuk meningkatkan atensi pada anak dengan ADHD terbukti relevan serta dapat menjadi pilihan yang tepat untuk meningkatkan kemampuan fokus dan membantu proses belajar anak dengan ADHD. Tinjauan literatur ini juga mengidentifikasi tiga peta jalan penelitian di masa depan, yaitu lebih memperhatikan permasalahan gangguan mental penyerta ADHD lainnya sebagai tujuan penelitian di masa depan; lebih memperhatikan variasi latar belakang responden yang terlibat dalam proses desain game pembelajaran; serta penggunaan platform lain sebagai media pembelajaran di masa depan.
