The Influence of Aggressive Media on the Weight and Surface Hardness of Epoxy-Glass Waste Composite

Abstract: The world is evolving toward a circular economy, which focuses on decreasing waste and extending the life of commodities. This work suggests using waste of glass to prepare composite. Epoxy was reinforced 50% by weight using waste glass. At room temperature were prepared samples reinforced and unreinforced and immersed in five solutions (HCl, Water, NaOH, Kerosene and Benzene) for four weeks, to find out the resistance of the epoxy after reinforcing.
