The Impact of Service and Channel Integration on the Stability and Complexity of the Supply Chain

Abstract: This paper constructs a supply chain consisting of a manufacturer and a retailer. Considering channel integration and service cooperation, two dynamic Stackelberg game models are established: one without unit profit allocation M and the other one with unit profit allocation Mε. In two dynamic models, we analyze the influence of relevant parameters on the stability and complexity of the dynamic system and system profit by nonlinear system theory and numerical simulation. We find that the higher adjustment param… Show more

“…It is necessary to take some measures to delay or eliminate chaos and benefit the whole system. ere are many methods to control chaos, namely, delayed feedback control [34,46], variable feedback control [47,48], and parameter adjustment [49]. In this section, the parameter adjustment method and delay control method are adopted to control the market prices of participants.…”

“…Tu et al [18] considered a dynamic hybrid supply chain model composed of two manufacturers and one retailer and explored the Nash equilibrium point and its stability region. Zhou and Chen [19] established two dynamic Stackelberg game models without (with) unit profit allocation and analyze the influence of relevant parameters on dynamic system stability, complexity, and channel revenue. Some scholars have been interested in stability problems of system with time delay.…”
