PurposeUsing the assumptions of the resource-based view, relational view and swift, even flow theories and the overarching principles of supply chain management, the study aims to test the role of information technology (IT) capability (cross-functional application, supply chain application and data consistency) in enabling supply chain integration (SCI; internal, customer and supplier integration) and the impact of SCI on firm's operational performance in terms of quality, delivery, production cost, inventory level, customer service and product-mix flexibility.Design/methodology/approachThe structural equation modeling approach is used to test theoretical predictions underlying the relationship among dimensions of IT capability, SCI and operational performance based on data obtained from senior executives of 108 large manufacturing firms listed in the Tokyo Stock Exchange.FindingsThe results suggest that IT capability has positive impact on SCI, except for data consistency, which is found to have negative impact on internal integration. The results further indicate that SCI, especially customer integration, has positive and significant impact on all operational performance indicators.Practical implicationsThe findings inform future initiatives associated with the SCI improvement via specific IT capabilities. When undertaking such initiatives, managers are advised to consider the differential impact of the following IT capabilities on SCI: cross-functional applications, supply chain applications, and data consistency capability.Originality/valueThe study makes an empirical contribution to the body of knowledge by demonstrating the value of the multidimensional representation and analysis of IT capability, SCI, and operational performance given a differential and even opposed influence by some of the dimensions in specific business contexts.

The purpose of this study is to determine the mutual influence of financial security on the textile enterprises development level. The proposed methodological approach is based on the formation of an integrated financial security indicator and its regression model. The study is based on 16 textile enterprises in the European Union. Integral indicators on capital structure, current financing sufficiency and financial efficiency of the investigated enterprises have been defined according to the rapid diagnostics of financial provision of the textile enterprises. The state of financial support for the studied companies’ development has been evaluated. It has been established that the development of textile enterprises depends to a large extent on their financial support as a whole. The change in the development level of companies depends substantially on the change in the integrated indicator of their financial provision. In particular, textile enterprises’ development is significantly affected by the capital structure and the predominance of equity in it, as well as current financing. The financial efficiency factors taken into account do not have a significant impact on the development of textile enterprises. This study proposes a financial security model, developed by partial integrated indicators. It enables visual comparison, collation of the capital structure state, current financing and financial efficiency of the studied enterprises with optimal value.

Setelah pandemi covid berbagai jenis industri berusaha mempertahankan operasional perusahaannya. Salah satunya industri yang bergerak dalam suplai pangan seperti distributor unggas. Kegiatan usaha ayam potong pada tingkat Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) masih kesulitan mempertahankan kegiatan operasional produksi daging ayam akibat dari fluktuasi ekonomi akhir-akhir ini. Selain itu, harga dari daging ayam yang cenderung fluktuatif apabila dibandingkan dengan sebelum pandemi. Untuk itu perlu dilakukan pengukuran kinerja rantai pasok untuk mengetahui tingkat kinerja rantai pasoknya sehingga dapat mengetahui akar permasalahan yang terjadi dan perbaikan yang harus dilakukan. Penelitian ini mengangkat topik manajemen rantai pasok dengan pendekatan green pada UMKM Mitra Unggas Mandiri. Selain itu juga mengukur kinerja rantai pasok hijau dengan menggunakan pendekatan model SCOR 12.0 dan AHP. Hasilnya yaitu ada 19 KPI yang digunakan, dimana empat KPI termasuk dalam aspek green sebagai pengukuran rantai pasok hijau. Total skor pengukuran adalah 75.017, dimana nilai ini termasuk kedalam kategori Good. Hal ini menunjukkan secara keseluruhan proses rantai pasok hijau pada UMKM Mitra Unggas Mandiri sudah berjalan dengan baik.
