The heart failure revascularisation trial (HEART): rationale, design and methodology

Abstract: Background: Most patients with heart failure due to left ventricular systolic dysfunction (LVSD) secondary to coronary artery disease (CAD) have evidence of myocardium in jeopardy (reversible ischaemia andyor stunning hibernation).
