The research aimed to investigate the relationship between conformity and consumptive behavior in female adolescents. It applied a quantitative method with ex-post facto design. The sample was 97 female adolescents in Yogyakarta and was determined using a convenience sampling technique. They completed two questionnaires of conformity and consumptive behavior. The instrument validation technique used content validity, and the validity of the instruments was measured by psychology measurement experts. The instruments' reliability was analyzed using Cronbach Alpha with coefficients of 0,914 (consumptive behavior) and 0,790 (conformity). Data analysis techniques used Pearson product-moment correlation analysis. The result of the research shows that there is a significant positive relationship between conformity and consumptive behavior in female adolescents. In other words, conformity can be a strong predictor of consumptive behavior in female adolescents.

This research is based on the phenomenon that occurs, namely there are still students who differentiate themselves based on the groups they associate with at school, causing some students to get into problems. This type of research is a comparative descriptive which aims to describe the differences in conformity based on the gender of the students. The population in this study were students of SMK class XI. The sampling technique in this research is to use random sampling technique. The instrument used was a Likert scale model and a questionnaire containing statements related to student conformity. Test the validity of the instrument using the Rasch Model. The data analysis technique used the Independent Sample t-Test. The results of the study found that there were differences in conformity between male and female students.

Investigating the relationship between gender norms, motivation types and life satisfaction levels of women living in Southeastern Anatolia is the main target of this study. The most important problematic of this research is to evaluate the effects of gender norms and motivation types on women's life satisfaction. The sample of the research consists of 153 women living in Sırnak and represent different sociodemographic segments. The life satisfaction of the participants was evaluated with their own gender norm perceptions. Data obtained through the The Satisfaction with Life Scale and Gender Motivation Scale and was evaluated by SPSS statistical program. As to the results obtained; the life satisfaction levels of single women are higher than married women. Also as the levels of education increase, the levels of their life satisfaction increase. As the women get older, their conformity to feminine norms with internal motivations decrease. Finally, as women's compliance with masculine gender norms either with external motivations or with internal motivations increase, the levels of their life satisfactions increase.
