Efforts to increase the quality of this environment have been going on since the beginning of the concern for shelter in the history of humanity. The main targets of the user, designers, practitioners, and decision-makers are to carry the quality of life, health, safety, and welfare of individuals and other living things to the next level. Problems have been identified to increase the function and quality of the space, spatial requirements have been determined, and researched, and some design factors have been determined to reach the most appropriate solution. The researchers focused on the proposition that the effectiveness of these factors before and during the design process would increase the quality of the space. However, since research generally focuses on indoor quality, the outdoor quality factors that are part of urban design are not clear. This work, was designed to evaluate the usability of these factors, which were determined and measured especially to deal with the interior, in designs at larger scales (street, neighborhood, city…) and to improve the existing. In designs outside the spatial scale, where almost all factors can be controlled by the relevant stakeholders of the process, the subject is approached through changeable and unchangeable parameters and their balancing. Studies on the factors determined during the process were compiled and their effects on different scales were evaluated as a result of these compilations. As a result of the evaluation, some suggestions were given. In the process of redesigning the space, selecting feasible suggestions, and incorporating them into the creation of the future physical space, using the suggestions as urban rehabilitation tools, and considering these interventions to be flexible and suitable for various factors are of great importance for the psychology of the users.

This paper first constructs a convolutional neural network model by convolutional layer, activation layer and normalization layer and then uses the style migration algorithm and image semantic segmentation algorithm based on the convolutional neural network to construct an environmental visual design model based on the style migration algorithm. The experimental analysis of the effective application of the environmental visual design scheme under the new media perspective is conducted after data pre-processing. The results show that from the total loss function graph after weighting, the function decreases from 0.03 to 0.01 after a small fluctuation, and the style migration imaging tends to a stable state, and the model is optimal now. This demonstrates the exploration of environmental visual design and encourages the innovative development of visual design in the new media environment.

Unlike traditional machine learning methods, deep learning methods that can learn from image, video, audio, and text data, especially recently with the increase in hardware power, are also increasing in success. Considering the success and benefits of deep learning methods in many different fields with increasing data, similar effects are expected in architecture. In this study, we focused on textures by going down to specifics rather than general images. In this direction, a total of 4500 satellite images belonging to cloud, desert, green areas and water bodies were classified in the model developed using deep convolutional neural networks. In the developed model, 0.97 accuracy for cloud images, 0.98 accuracy for desert images, 0.96 accuracy for green areas images and 0.98 accuracy for water bodies images were obtained in the classification of previously unused test data (675 images). Although there are similarities in the images of cloud and desert, and images of green areas and water bodies, this success in textures shows that it can be successful in detecting, analyzing, and classifying architectural materials. Successful recognition, analysis and classification of architectural materials and elements with deep convolutional neural networks will be able to facilitate the acquisition of appropriate and useful data through shape recognition among many data, especially at the information collection phase in the architectural design process. Thus, it will help to take more accurate decisions by obtaining more comprehensive data that cannot be obtained from manual data analysis. Learning the distinctive features for classification of data in deep convolutional neural networks also explains architectural design differences and similarities. This situation reveals the hidden relationship in the designs and thus can offer architects the opportunity to make creative and original designs.
