This research aimed was to find the code-mixing phenomena on horror game Resident Evil 4 by Reggy Prabowo YouTube channel using a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Where at recent days the technological advances were developing extremely rapid, one of them through YouTube with horror game contents. In YouTube content presented by Reggy Prabowo as the owner of MiawAug YouTube channel which has more than 10 million subscribers to date, researcher found 107 data of code-mixing types, consisting of: 79 data of intra-lexical; 25 data of intra-sentential; 3 data of Involving a change of pronunciation, as for the most dominating was intra-lexical code-mixing. Then, 110 data of code-mixing level obtained, consisting of: 70 data of CMWL; 15 data of CMPL; 4 data of CMCL; 9 data of CMRL; 12 data of CMBL, as for the most dominating was CMWL. Additionally, Reggy Prabowo also mixed diverse languages other than English and Indonesian, such as Java as the local language and Japan as the foreign language into his horror content. It confirmed that the rapid technology advances of this era have a major influence on the changes in language especially in the phenomenon of code-mixing not only involving two languages but also involving 3 or 4 languages at once. This research aims to analyze language code switching and code mixing used by teacher during English teaching learning process at SMP Negeri Kamang 2 Magek. This research focused on describing the reason of code mixing and code switching used by the teachers during English teaching learning process. Researcher interested due to the phenomenon of diversity of the language code switching and code mixing is that decide the reason of language code switching and code mixing by the teachers during English teaching learning process. In this research the researcher used the teachers' utterances to collect the data. This research is descriptive research to describe and analyze the language code switching and code mixing used by the teachers during English teaching learning process. The data of this research consist of voice recorder, observation, interview and direct note that are deemed take by a recorder during English teaching learning process start from begins until the teaching learning process ends. The subjects of this research are three English teachers. From the data collection that has been transcribed by narrow transcription and descriptive qualitative data analysis techniques is discovered that the teachers used code switching and code mixing caused by language input because of the teachers are from Minangkabau and in daily communication the teachers and the students used Bahasa Indonesia as the first language and Minangkabaunese as a native language. The finding stated that sometimes the teachers used code switching or code mixing from English into Minangkabaunese. So that it is discovered the reason of language code switching and code mixing by the teachers during English teaching learning process. The research concludes that generally teachers still do more language code switching and code mixing during English teaching learning process in the form of Indonesian and Minangkabaunese. The teachers used code switching and code mixing was not caused by weaknesses or deficiencies in speaking English and mastering English during the teaching learning process. But the teachers used code switching and code mixing because of the teacher's skills to make students understand the lesson easily. The teachers use language code switching and code mixing also to develop intimacy, to reproof and to explain the material to understanding enhancement of the students who all had pedagogical purposes.

The present study aims to identify the factors that can potentially affect code switching in a college classroom in Malaysia. The participants were twenty bilingual international students enrolled in an English course in Malaysia. The data were collected through semi-structured interviews with the participating students. The findings of the study indicated that the main factor behind code switching among the students was incompetence in the second language. Other factors that could account for code switching were maintaining privacy, the ease of speaking in the first language compared to speaking in English, avoiding misunderstanding, and unfamiliarity with similar words in English. Therefore, code switching was found to be an effective strategy used by the students to make their intended meaning explicit and to transmit some knowledge to other students in classroom interactions. This study provides some implications for English teaching community including language learners, teachers, and curriculum developers.
