The Formation of Civic Identity among Schoolchildren

Abstract

The relevance of the research problem is due to the happening socio-cultural changes in the world, when in the conditions of polyethnicity and multiculturalism of the countries there are difficulties with the consolidation of citizens and establishing the dialogue on the principles of equality and mutual respect. The purpose of this article is to clarify the content of civic personal identity, and based on the analysis of the existing world experience of civic education of students, to present own program of forming civic identity among schoolchildren.
