“…The reported effect sizes between E-and M-types, concerning the subscale ''hostility'', ranged between small and medium, with males in the upper midrange (d ¼ 0.34-0.45). Among the remaining subscales, the majority showed significant differences in dependence to circadian preference including the subscale ''interpersonal sensitivity'', that is considered a potential antecedent of hostile affect (Lung & Lee, 2008).…”

“…Symptom Checklist-90-Revised (SCL-90-R; Derogatis, 1994) and Brief Symptom Rating Scale (BSRS; Lung & Lee, 2008) The SCL-90-R, which is a self-report measure of general psychopathology and psychosocial impairment for adolescents and adults, was initially inspected in terms of its covariations with differing diurnal preferences by Vardar et al (2008). The authors examined sleep patterns and psychological characteristics in 141 healthy students attending medical school (79 females) aged 17-23 years (19.8 AE 1.3) in search for specific differences in circadian preference (Vardar et al, 2008).…”

“…The four scale items were internally consistent (α = 0.69). Suicide ideation measures the extent to which the participants had suicidal thoughts 30 days prior to treatment using a single item adapted from Lung and Lee (2008) 25. Participants responded on a 0 (not at all) to 4 (extremely) scale.…”
