“…Nonetheless, the study sample comprises siblings from high and low socioeconomic groups, from urban and rural environments, with index cases suffering a variety of common pathologies of varying severity. Moreover, the sample is larger than that presented by comparable studies (Areemit et al 2010;Dia and Harrington 2006;Kelvin et al 1996;Kilmer et al 2008) and can be taken to be representative in the context of the mainstream Australian community.
