Abstract:Abstract:In vitro cariogenicity of transgalactosylated oligosaccharide (TOS) was examined using oral streptococci. The results were as follows:1. Purified TOS (TOS-P) was not utilized for growth and production of lactic acid by oral streptococci.The utilization value of TOS-P was lower than that of neosugar-P.2.
