Urban Vitality Area Identification and Pattern Analysis from the Perspective of Time and Space Fusion

Urban vitality provides an important basis for evaluating urban development and spatial balance. In the era of big data, the quantitative analysis of urban vitality has become a research hotspot in the field of urban sustainability and planning research. However, time variation characteristics are often neglected, which leads to one-sidedness in the pattern analysis of urban vitality. In this paper, a method for extracting vitality areas and integrating spatiotemporal features clustering is proposed. The method is used to divide urban space into multiple vitality areas scientifically. The spatial and temporal distribution patterns of urban vitality areas are found, and the driving factors of various vitality patterns are analyzed by combining points of interest (POI)-based land use characteristics. To illustrate this method, this paper takes Nanjing city as an example. One week's worth of mobile phone data indicated that Nanjing has 10 and 8 vitality areas on weekdays and weekends, respectively. The spatial and temporal distribution patterns of the vitality areas and their correlation with land use were analyzed, which proved that POI density and entropy have strong correlations with urban vitality.

In order to solve the problems of low efficiency and low safety caused by manual operation of coiled tubing machine, automatic control technology is widely used in coiled tubing operation equipment. At present, most coiled tubing equipment is still hydraulically controlled, control equipment operation by manually operating hydraulic valves. Since the concept of "intelligent coiled tubing" was put forward at the sixth International Petroleum Industry Summit Forum in 2014, it is considered as the key development direction of coiled tubing technology; therefore, in the context of global energy transformation and upgrading, the development of coiled tubing equipment generally tends to automation, informatization and intelligence, carry out the research on automatic technology of fully electronic control continuous tube equipment, lay the foundation for the digitization and intellectualization of the control system, Improving the performance and safety of equipment is an important means to solve the efficient and safe development of underground operation. After investigating a large number of documents, this paper summarizes the application of automatic control technology in coiled tubing operation equipment at home and abroad, and forms relevant conclusions and suggestions. The research can provide strong guidance for technical development and on-site engineering services.

The rapid mobilization of Emergency Services (ES) could be particularly challenging for ES drivers and staff that have to navigate and manoeuvre through various traffic and weather conditions. Driving, in high speeds through dense traffic is a particularly demanding psychomotor task for the ES drivers and could result in collisions and even fatalities. Current attempts to support the driver and reduce the potential driving hazards had limited success. The paper presents the design rationale of a prototype system that utilises Augmented Reality (AR) in the form of a Head-Up Display (HUD) to superimpose guidance information in the real-life environment. The paper will discuss also the requirements for an Artificial Intelligence (AI) system that could analyse the driving conditions and present the best manoeuvring options whilst maintain the road users' safety. Finally, the paper presents the requirements' framework for the development of the proposed AR/AI system based on the feedback and suggestions of ten ES drivers. Their feedback will be presented and discussed in detail as it provided essential insight into the everyday challenges of ES operations.
