The electromagnetic wave modulation based on single-frequency reflection in absorption with angle stability of hyperbolic metamaterials

Abstract: In this paper, the hyperbolic metamaterials (HMs) based on the one-dimensional (1D) plasma photonic crystals is proposed, whose dielectric constant and group index can be obtained through the effective medium theory. By adopting an improved Thue–Morse sequence structure and using the transfer matrix method, the tunable single-frequency reflection in absorption (SFRA) with angle stability is achieved. The effects of incident angle, filling rate, and plasma collision frequency on the refractive index of HM and t… Show more

“…Ma. et al 39 discuss the properties of HMs composed of the plasma and ordinary medium and after their parameter adjustment, the developed structure realizes single-frequency reflection in absorption (SFRA) with angle stability. In our paper, we will discuss the properties of HMM composed of dielectric and nanocomposite material where we obtained many PBGs in our structure in IR range with less angle stability.…”

“…They also demonstrated how to create a visible reflection angle filter. Ma et al 70 look into the characteristics of HMMs made up of plasma and regular medium and use it to build Thue–Morse sequences. The advanced structure then achieves single-frequency reflection in absorption (SFRA) with angle stability after selecting the parameter optimization.…”
