“…Then by reviewing the related textbooks, we selected instructional materials from English for Automobiles (Liu, 2021), one of China's most reputable foreign-language textbook presses. Because learning outcomes of TC skills should be assessed through methods such as test papers (Reave, 2004), we used each lesson's learning goals to design two different tests—one for the pretest and one for the posttest—to measure students’ TC skills.
