Purpose:The aim of this paper is to provide evidence for the validity and reliability of a questionnaire for assessing the implementation of problem-based learning (PBL). This questionnaire was developed to assess the quality of PBL implementation from the perspective of medical school graduates.Methods:A confirmatory factor analysis was conducted to assess the validity of the questionnaire. The analysis was based on a survey of 225 graduates of a problem-based medical school in Indonesia.Results:The results showed that the confirmatory factor analysis model had a good fit to the data. Further, the values of the standardized loading estimates, the squared inter-construct correlations, the average variances extracted, and the composite reliabilities all provided evidence of construct validity.Conclusion:The PBL implementation questionnaire was found to be valid and reliable, making it suitable for evaluation purposes.

Evaluation of training implementation is a form of evaluation of training that has been carried out as a basis for further training development. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the implementation of training for nurses and midwives. This study used a qualitative study design by adopting the Kirkpatrick evaluation model. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The stages of data analysis were carried out by content analysis using thematic coding, analytical induction, and technical concept mapping. A total of 12 people were involved in this study with 75% nurses and 25% midwives. The results of the FGDs and interviews found that the expected form of training was mixed training, learning media that supported time and place flexibility, evaluation of results based on significant pretest and posttest scores, no visible changes in behavior, and training provided increased knowledge, attitudes, and skills. The implementation of training planning is a systematic process starting from implementation and evaluation. Evaluation of training implementation using the Kirkpatrick model can be the basis for improving training delivery such as the form of training, training venues, training time, meeting learning needs.

Tarkastelemme opiskelijoiden kokemuksia työelämätaitojen kehittymisestä tieteidenvälisellä kaupunkitutkimuksen, -suunnittelun ja -kehittämisen projektikurssilla. Korkeakoulut ovat yhä kiinnostuneempia työelämätaitojen kehittämiseen tutkintokoulutuksessa, samalla kun ne ovat virtaviivaistaneet toimintaansa ulkoistamalla ja yhtiöittämällä perinteisesti työelämätaitoihin keskittyneitä aikuis- ja täydennyskoulutusyksiköitään. Siirtymä sisältää jännitteitä ja pedagogisia haasteita. Minkälaisia työelämätaitoja opiskelijat kokivat kurssin kehittäneen ja miten he kuvaavat oppimistaan suhteessa monialaisuuteen ja oman alansa asiantuntijuuden kehittymiseen? Aineistona ovat ”Suunniteltu ja koettu kaupunki” -kurssien kyselyt ja muu materiaali. Tutkimuksessa hyödynnetään teoriaohjaavaa sisällönanalyysia soveltaen Binkleyn ym. (2012) mallia työelämätaitojen kategorioista. Opiskelijoiden nimeämät taidot liittyivät useimmin kategorioihin ”työskentelyn taidot” ja ”työskentelyn työkalut”. Tieteidenvälistä työskentelyä monialaisessa ryhmässä arvostettiin, sillä se vahvisti käsitystä omasta osaamisesta. Tämä liittyi kategoriaan ”taito toimia kansalaisena maailmassa”. ”Ajattelun taidot” kategoria ilmeni muun muassa luovan ideoinnin ja kehittämisen taitoina. Analyysin perusteella tieteidenväliset projektit tukevat monipuolisesti eri taitojen kehittymistä ja tieteidenvälinen työskentely voi tukea oman alan asiantuntijuuden syvenemistä.
