Abstract:Obesity, with its many associated diseases, is the fastest growing public health problem worldwide. Obesity related chronic inflammation is the main pathophysiological basis in many obesty related comorbidities. In obesity, hypertrophic growth of adipose tissue is associated with the stimulation of the secretion of inflammatory mediators such as tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-a) and interleukin-6 (IL-6) (2, 3).
