This study aims to describe the feasibility of research-based learning materials with problem solving and problem posing oriented of Mathematics Statistics. This research is a development research refers to the instructional development cycle by Fenrich (1997). Data collection techniques by observation, tests, and closed questionnaires. Data analysis techniques used qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis (mixing method). The results: (1) a valid Semester Learning Plan (RPS) both in content and construct, Student Activity Sheet (LKM) based on research and a Learning Result Test (THB) assessment sheet with good and very good assessment from the validator that can be used with few revision, (2) positive response from students to teaching materials amounted to 88.67%, (3) effectiveness of teaching materials was seen based on student learning completeness of 78.20%and better compared to classes that are not taught to use research-based learning teaching materials developed. The development of research-based learning materials with problem solving and problem posing oriented are valid, practic and effective that suitable for use in Statistics Mathematics learning process.

Scientific writing is essential for students to express their idea and to report their research. Problem-based learning model directs students to solve problems and report them in the form of scientific articles. The report is written logically and systematically. The research used a quasi-experiment method with 62 students as participants. The research was conducted in the Geography Education Program of Kanjuruhan University of Malang, Indonesia, academic year 2017/2018 on the course of Geography Natural Resource. The instruments used were essay tests and assessment rubrics for scientific writing. Data from problem-solving and scientific writing assessments were analysed with the Mann-Whitney test with a significance level of 5% after a prerequisite test. The results of the study showed that: problembased learning model has a significant effect on students' problem-solving skills, scientific writing skill, and together problem-based learning and problem-solving skills had significant effect scientific writing skill.

“…RBL (research based learning) learning has been carried out since 2010 and continues because it is a prerequisite for graduating from SMA 3 Bandung so that students are required to always conduct research based learning from 11th grade to 12th grade. Living Values Education is a new concept in learning Civic Education that is feasible to be actualized. The purpose of this study is to construct the meaning of learning activities of living values based Civic Education in SMA 3 Bandung. This research is a qualitative study with a case study design to obtain in-depth answers of the problems as explained. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews, observation, documentation studies, and field notes. The findings of this study shows that the Implementation of Pancasila and Civic Education Learning based on living values education in Senior High School (SMA) 3 Bandung is actualized through 3 (three) stages of learning namely, covering; 1) preliminary stages, in the form of a learning contract in the form of commitment to building identity as students of SMA Negeri 3 Bandung who are characterized, researched, and excel in faith and piety, 2) core stages, such as through VCT, Ice Breaking, and Roundtable Method, culture-based learning namely RBL (Research Based Learning) and Bakti Desa, and 3) the closing stages, in the form of reflection of internal values.
