The arrival of COVID19 highlighted how ill prepared we were for the pandemic. During this period educators had no option but to trade in their cement four walled classrooms for a computer as they switched from standing at a podium in a lecture room to sitting at their kitchen table in front of their laptop presenting courses from the safety of their own homes. For many this was a gift and a curse, as working from home became the new norm. In light of the current pandemic, the demands for online education is soaring. During the COVID19 pandemic we all had to adapt and, in many cases, re-imagine how best to utilize online and hybrid learning in order to provide a safe and supportive space for learners to engage in education. This paper will illustrate how to make the most of online education as we share lessons learnt from our five year project undertaken on how to improve the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) in a specific university, namely the VLE of the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland (RCSI). Improvements made to the VLE as well as recommendations will be provided on how to make VLEs more user friendly and engaging.

This research aims to find out the effectiveness of virtual classroom learning in an early childhood education environment. The research method used was case study method at PrayataSubang Playing Group. Data is primarily collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies with parents, teachers, and children. We analyze the data collected related to the use of virtual classrooms and see their efficiency. The findings lead to virtual classroom learning implemented using several applicators such as Zoom, Whatsapp Video Call, Instagram Live, Youtube, and Quizzi. The implementation of learning has been quite effective judged by several indicators such as the participation of students in following learning is good, parents play an active role in accompanying and assisting children learning, and teachers who are creative and innovative in providing learning. E-learning is electronic learning and teaching and learning process that is carried out online. This study aims to see the effectiveness of E-Learning through lesson study on Building Materials Science subjects. This research uses a descriptive quantitative method. This study involved 40 students in semester 1 of Class A in Science and Building Materials. Data are obtained by polling and questionnaires by providing answers to questions. Polling data were analyzed using the Rasch model, and the data questionnaire was analyzed using the Linkert scale model. The results showed that the application of e-learning through lesson study could increase the effectiveness of learning process with a value of 84.5%, which is quite useful. The effectiveness of learning process is based on considerations of quality, level of suitability, and time required. Learning materials increase students' readiness to learn to teach before learning in class. Students who are motivated to do assignments and understand eLearning learning materials can complete the learning process according to the specified time.
