Stroboscopic training has repeatedly been shown to improve visual and visuomotor performance in sports. Although recent research suggests that stroboscopic vision puts a training stimulus to the central nervous system, the underlying mechanism how it affects motion perception and processing in the brain is still unknown. Twenty‐six participants performed a computer‐based simple reaction test in response to a visual motion stimulus under normal (baseline) and stroboscopic conditions (5 Hz frequency, 40% duty cycle) (stroboscopic). A third condition under normal vision intermittently stopped the motion stimulus at the same frequency and duty cycle as in the stroboscopic condition. This condition controlled for the amount of visual motion information independent of the shutter glasses (screen shutter) and provided information about the effect of luminance changes induced by the stroboscopic eyewear. A 64‐channel EEG was recorded to determine the amplitude and latency of the N2 component as a correlate of visual motion perception in the motion‐sensitive visual area MT. Reaction time under stroboscopic conditions was significantly delayed when compared to both the baseline (p < 0.001) and screen shutter (p < 0.001) conditions. This was accompanied by a significantly prolonged N2 latency (p < 0.001) and lower N2 amplitude (p < 0.001) with the shutter glasses. There was no difference in reaction time or N2 amplitude/latency between the baseline and screen shutter condition (p ≥ 0.176). Stroboscopic eyewear delays the speed of visual motion perception and processing in the central nervous system and reduces the visuomotor reaction speed. This may form the neurophysiological basis for performance gains following stroboscopic training.

In this research, we analyzed the pass accuracy (PA) of center-back (CB), wing-back (WB), center-midfield (CM), wing-midfield (WM) and center-forward (CF) players, and the points of Turkish Super League (TSL) 2020-2021 season. Pearson Correlation Test was used for statistical analysis and confidence interval was settled as 99% (p < 0.01). The results showed that the PA average of CB and CM players was highly related to the points obtained at the end of the season. The passing accuracy of the teams finishing the league in the best places was above 80%, and it was lower in those teams with less points. In conclusion, the results demonstrated that pass accuracy affected the league rank of TSL, and a pass accuracy of 80% may be a critical level to finish in the top ranking of the league. En esta investigación, se analizó la precisión de pase (PP) promedio de los jugadores de centro (C), lateral (L), centro-medio (CM), lateral-medio (LM) y delanteros centro (CF) de los equipos de la Súper Liga Turca (SLT), así como los puntos de la temporada 2020-2021. El test de correlación de Pearson fue utilizado para el análisis estadístico, estableciendo el intervalo de confianza en 99% (p <0,01). Los resultados mostraron que el promedio de PP de los jugadores de C y CM estaba altamente relacionado con los puntos obtenidos al final de la temporada. La precisión de pase de los equipos que terminaron la liga en las mejores posiciones fue superior al 80%, y fue menor en los equipos que terminaron en peores posiciones. En conclusión, los resultados demostraron que la precisión del pase afectó a la clasificación de los equipos de la SLT, y que un 80% de precisión de pase puede ser un nivel crítico para terminar en las mejores posiciones de la liga.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kecepatan lari pemain Sepak Bola selama latihan menghadapi turnamen Piala Menpora tahun 2019 dan melihat kondisi setelah periode detraining pasca turnamen. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif, menggunakan pendekatan Observational methods. Subjek penelitian adalah pemain PS UNIPA Surabaya yang tergabung dalam team inti untuk mengikuti turnamen Piala Menpora yang berjumlah 18 pemain. Data yang diperoleh diolah melalui analisis data kuantitatif dengan bantuan program spss, dan analisis persentasi dari hasil observasi pemain sepak bola. Data yang diperoleh berupa data kecepatan berlari dengan jarak tempuh 50 meter pada pretest (5,7322±0,43042) dan posttest (5,5933±0,43042) diolah melalui uji t dengan hasil p<0,05 (0,001<0,005). Hasil tersebut menunjukkan adanya perbedaan antara rata-rata pretest dengan posttest, bila membandingkan mean, dapat terlihat adanya peningkatan kecepatan pemain PS UNIPA Surabaya. Data berikutnya adalah data posttest setelah periode detraining (5,6906±0,42926). Bila dibandingkan dengan posttest setelah periode latihan dengan diolah melalui uji t diperoleh hasil p<0,05 (0,005<0,05). Hasil tersebut menunjukkan adanya perbedaan antara rata-rata pretest dengan posttest, bila membandingkan mean, dapat terlihat adanya penurunan kembali kecepatan pemain sepak bola setelah periode detraining. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa: 1). Ada peningkatan kecepatan pemain sepak bola dalam mempersiapkan Turnamen antar Mahasiswa Piala Menpora Tahun 2018 di Bandung; 2) Terjadi penurunan kecepatan pemain sepak bola setelah periode detraining pasca Turnamen antar Mahasiswa Piala Menpora Tahun 2018 di Bandung; 3). Penurunan performa dan kecepatan pemain sepak bola setelah periode detraining pasca Turnamen Antar Mahasiswa Piala Menpora di Bandung Tahun 2018-2019 tidak sampai kembali pada kondisi awal sebelum latihan persiapan.
