The Effect of miR-539 Regulating TRIAP1 on the Apoptosis, Proliferation, Migration and Invasion of Osteosarcoma Cells

Abstract: Objective The purpose of this study is to explore the effect of miRNA-539 on osteosarcoma and the underlying mechanism, so as to find a new method for early diagnosis and treatment of osteosarcoma. Method miRNA-539 mimics was transfected into osteosarcoma cells 143b and MG-63 and upregulated the expression of miR-539. QT-PCR was used to detect transfection efficacy. CCK-8 method was used to detect proliferation of 143b and MG-63 osteosarcoma cells and flow cytometry was used to detect the apoptosis of osteos… Show more

“…The present study identified hsa-miR-205-5p and hsa-miR-539-3p as differentially expressed miRNAs in the lung tissue of SSc-PAH patients, which might help us understand the roles of miRNAs in the pathogenesis of SSc-PAH. Previous studies also indicated that the abnormal hsa-miR-205-5p and hsa-miR-539-3p expressions existed in the various cancers (21,22). These results demonstrated that the two miRNAs may be the potential biomarkers of the early diagnosis, disease evaluation and prognosis judgment in SSc-PAH.…”

“…Previous studies have found that miRNAs play an important role in the pathogenesis of tumors [28][29][30]. Furthermore, miRNAs play a vital role in the occurrence and development of OS [31,32]. Although miR-875-5p is involved in inhibiting tumor progression in a variety of tumors [18,19], the mechanism of action of miR-875-5p in OS has not previously been studied.…”

“…Since miRNAs can inhibit mRNA translation by complementary pairing with the 3'-UTR, thus regulating target gene expression [26,27]. For example, miRNA-30a-3p was found to inhibit GC cell proliferation and migration by targeting APBB2 [28]; miRNA-539 inhibited osteosarcoma cell proliferation, apoptosis, invasion and migration by targeting TRIAP1 [29]. MiRNA-34c-5p is a member of the miRNA-34 family, miRNA-34 family can inhibit tumor progression by promoting apoptosis and blocking the cell cycle [30].…”
