Similar results were reported by Weerakkody et al (2010), who assessed 'Wonderful' during ripening for two seasons and found that the total antioxidant activity (FRAP) during the first year decreased with fruit maturation (35.7 to 11.6 mM Fe +2 L -1 ), while the changes were less pronounced during the second season.
