This study aims to describe the problem-based learning and collaboration model on science learning in elementary schools in the Industrial Revolution era 4.0 and Indonesia Society 5.0. This research is qualitative and descriptive. Data collection activities at the preliminary stage are carried out by exploring elementary school teachers' perceptions of problem-based learning and its application in science learning in schools in Surakarta, Indonesia. Focus group discussions (FGD) were conducted on 20 elementary school teachers employing the open inquiry method. The discussion reviewed several topics related to the teachers’ perception of the problem-based learning application, the advantages and disadvantages of problem-based learning as the basis for modifying the learning model, and the importance of collaboration skills for elementary school students. The problem-based learning-collaboration (PBL-C) model is a development of the problem-based learning model, which is equipped with collaborative skill indicators from the Industrial Revolution 4.0 aspects and coordination indicators with various parties from Indonesia Society 5.0 aspects. The result of this research is the problem-based learning-collaboration (PBL-C) model design with six steps: (1) orientation of students to problems, (2) organizing students for learning and division of tasks, (3) guiding investigations on local community leaders, (4) proving the results of the investigation, (5) developing and presenting the work, and (6) analyzing and evaluating the problem-solving process.

This research was conducted due to the lack of students’ awareness of the importance of health protocol behavior such as: no mask, no social distancing, no hand-washing, and no health awareness. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the impacts of the BATIK module (health integrated thematic learning material) on the conceptual understanding and behavior of clean and healthy living for elementary school students.The research design was quasi-experimental in form of a post-test control group design. The samples of the research were 58 students, consisting of 30 students for the experimental class and 28 students for the control class. Test and questionnaire methods were used for collecting the data. The test with 10 essay questions was used to examine the conceptual understanding. The questionnaire, consisting of 30 statements, was used to measure clean and healthy living behavior. The data analysis technique used was Manova. The results showed that there were significant differences in the understanding of the concept and behavior of clean and healthy living among the students who were taught by using the BATIK module and students who were not. So, it can be recommended that this module can be used as an alternative source of learning in elementary schools.

Studies in the field of environmental education need to be continuously promoted in line with the increasing number of environmental problems. The purpose of this systematic literature review (SLR) was to review and compare investigations of researches on articles published by one Indonesian Scopus Indexed journal i.e., Jurnal Pendidikan IPA Indoneia (JPII) so that they are expected to have significant contributions to the topic of environmental education. This systematic literature review adopts five-step guidelines. The study standards that meet the requirements were as follows: (1). The data used were from the 2012-2021 publication year; (2) articles published in English; (3) Full paper can be accessed; (4) related to the theme of environmental education. It can be concluded that JPII is a pro-environment education journal. JPII publishes 26 articles related to the theme of environment education. The most frequently used keywords were environmental education and students. JPII's important contribution in the theme of environmental education is to provide a real example of the implementation of SETS and to emphasize that the success of implementing environmental education depends on the models, methods, techniques, and tools that are continuously developed by experts.
