Toilet training is an important developmental milestone for toddlers, because the ability to control the urge to urinate and defecate begins to develop at this time. At present, many mothers work outside the home, so there is less time to stimulate children's toilet training. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between mother's support and toilet training success in toddlers aged 18-36 months at Posyandu Jemunang Pandanrejo Wagir Malang. The design of this research is correlation analytic with the cross sectional approach. The research sample is 30 respondents with a total sampling technique. The research instrument was a questionnaire filled out by mothers who had toddlers aged 18-36 months. The results showed that most of the mother's support was in the category of good support (66.67%). The success of toilet training is partly in the success category (53.33%). The results of data analysis using Spearman rank (rho) obtained 0.614, significant value (p-value) = 0.000 with α 0.05. Conclusion: there is a significant relationship between maternal support and toilet training success in toddlers aged 18-36 months. Parents, especially mothers, are expected to continue to provide support to children when doing toilet training.

Elderly people generally experience various kinds of changes that have an impact on the incidence of hypertension. Hypertension is still a disease that dominates the elderly and is a major risk factor for cardiovascular disease, stroke and kidney failure. A more common cause related to hypertension is the lack of knowledge of the elderly themselves about hypertension. The aim of this community service is to provide education on preventing hypertension in the elderly. The community service theme was Education on Handling Hypertension in the Elderly which was held on December 23 2022 at the WCS Mental Revolution House and was attended by 32 elderly people. The activity was carried out by delivering hypertension prevention material using leaflets and powerpoints, followed by discussions and questions and answers. From the results of an assessment of elderly people's knowledge about treating hypertension before being given education (pretest), most of them were poor, 10 people (31.3%). After being given education using leaflets and power points (posttest), the level of knowledge of the elderly regarding hypertension management was mostly good, 18 people (56.3%). The results of the Marginal Homogeneity Test analysis obtained a value of 0.005, indicating that there is an influence of education on hypertension management on the knowledge of the elderly. ASI eksklusif merupakan ASI dengan kandungan berupa zat gizi dan antibodi yang dapat diberikan pada bayi baru lahir selama 6 bulan pertama kelahiran tanpa makanan ataupun minuman tambahan lainnya seperti air putih, susu formula, jeruk, madu, air teh, dan makanan padat seperti pisang, pepaya, biskuit, bubur nasi, dan nasi tim. Persepsi dan kebudayaan dapat menyebabkan timbulnya perilaku dari ibu untuk tidak memberikan ASI eksklusif pada bayi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui persepsi dan kebudayaan mengenai pemberian ASI eksklusif di Desa Leting Kabupaten Kepulauan Aru, Maluku tahun 2023. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan desain fenomenologi. Pencarian informan menggunakan metode snowball sampling dengan total informan sebanyak 9 orang yang terdiri dari ibu yang mempunyai bayi berusia 0-24 bulan dan keluarga dari ibu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi pemberian ASI eksklusif di Desa Leting dipengaruhi faktor pengetahuan, pengalaman dan motivasi, selanjutnya kebudayaan mengenai pemberian ASI eksklusif di Desa Leting dipengaruhi faktor cara pemberian ASI, kebiasaan, tradisi dan kepercayaan. Persepsi pemberian ASI eksklusif di Desa Leting ditemukan bahwa satu ibu memberikan ASI karena mengetahui, memahami dan motivasi diri sendiri tentang manfaat memberikan ASI kepada bayinya. Kebudayaan mengenai pemberian ASI eksklusif di Desa Leting yaitu sebagian besar ibu memiliki kebiasaan sesuai tradisi dan kepercayaan masyarakat bahwa kolostrum adalah ASI basi yang harus dibuang, pemberian papeda dan pembacaan doa untuk kelancaran ASI ibu. Saran bagi petugas kesehatan diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi yang benar mengenai ASI eksklusif agar persepsi masyarakat dapat diperbaiki serta kebudayaan yang keliru dapat dihilangkan.
