Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penyebaran penyakit antraks pada ternak dengan tipe SVEIQR, yaitu dengan perlakuan berupa vaksinasi, karantina dan pengobatan. Untuk tujuan tersebut akan ditentukan titik tetap dan bilangan reproduksi dasar. Ada dua titik tetap, yaitu titik tetap tanpa penyakit dan titik tetap endemik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis pada model diperoleh bahwa titik tetap tanpa penyakit bersifat stabil asimtotik local ketika reproduksi dasar bernilai kurang dari satu dan titik tetap endemik bersifat stabil asimtotik lokal ketika reproduksi dasar bernilai lebih dari satu. Simulasi numerik yang dilakukan menunjukkan hasil yang sesuai dengan sifat kestabilan pada titik tetap tanpa penyakit dan titik tetap endemik.

Anthrax is a zoonotic infectious disease caused by Bacillus anthracis. According to current knowledge, the disease originates in sub-Saharan Africa, especially Egypt and Mesopotamia. Laboratory tests involving direct staining or culture of samples taken from malignant pustules, sputum, blood, or patient discharge must be performed to establish a diagnosis. B. anthracis infection can enter the body through the skin, mouth, or nose. Human infection is usually caused by contact with infected animals or animal products. Anthrax causes a reduction in resource efficiency and decreases livestock productivity. B. anthracis spores are resistant to extreme temperatures, pressure, pH, drying, solvents, and ultraviolet light. The biological weapon of this disease may be fatal if it is designed to spread B. anthracis spores by aerosols. In the past, the treatment of human anthrax with penicillin at a high dose was the preferred method. The public can take several measures to prevent anthrax infection, such as purchasing and consuming meat that has been legally certified to have been slaughtered in a slaughterhouse, consuming healthy and properly cooked animal meat, and washing hands with antiseptic soap after handling, processing, and cooking animal products. This review aimed to describe the etiology, pathogenesis, mechanism of infection, epidemiology, diagnosis, clinical symptoms, transmission, risk factors, public health importance, economic impact, potential as a bio-warfare agent, treatment, and control of anthrax. Introduction: Anthrax is a zoonotic infection that often becomes epidemic in endemic areas. It can be transmitted to humans through contact with infected animals. The most common manifestation is the appearance of eschar on the skin. Early detection as a screening for anthrax exposure can use serum anti PA Ig G antibody tests. This study aims to analyze the contact history and appearance of eschar on the skin against serum antibodies of people exposed to anthrax. Material and Methods: This analytical observational study used a cross-sectional design. It assessed the relationship of contact history and eschar to Ig G anti PA serum antibodies. To determine the significance of the association between the factors studied, an analysis using SPSS version 22.0 for windows was used, with a 95% confidence level. Result and Discussion: A total of 35 respondents who were exposed to anthrax in Gunungkidul District, Yogyakarta. Most of the respondents were women aged between 40 - 60 years and worked as farmers. It showed that Anti-PA Ig G antibodies are 40% positive, with 17% having a history of direct contact showing positive serology and 20% having eschar on skin with positive antibodies. It indicates a significant association between contact history and antibodies with p <0.05, but there is no significant difference in the appearance of eschar on the skin. Conclusion: There is a relationship between the results of serology with a history of contact with infected animals, so it’s very important information in efforts to prevent and screen anthrax in endemic areas.
