“…According to the available literature, the flat band potential values for the ZnO and ZnCdSe are −0.38 V vs normal hydrogen electrode (NHE) and −0.5 V vs NHE . Furthermore, considering the band gap energies of the semiconductors, the (VB) potential (EVB) was calculated using the following equation: …”

“…Hence, it is critical to develop an efficient strategy to utilize the visible light of the solar spectrum for photocatalytic applications. Up to now, several efforts have been made to improve the performances of AInO 2 ‐based materials for the potential applications in the fields of energy conversion and environmental remediation . For example, J. Sato and coworkers reported the photocatalytic activities for water decomposition with RuO 2 ‐loaded AInO 2 (A=Li, Na) .…”

“…For example, J. Sato and coworkers reported the photocatalytic activities for water decomposition with RuO 2 ‐loaded AInO 2 (A=Li, Na) . J. Lekse et al investigated the changes of electronic structure in NaInO 2 by introducing Fe ion (NaIn 0.9 Fe 0.1 O 2 ) and the catalytic activities for the degradation of methylene blue (MB) under UV‐light illumination . In our previous reports, we have reported N‐doped LiInO 2 which showed better light absorption in visible light and higher photocatalytic activity as compared undoped LiInO 2.…”
