“…Baker's yeast is commonly used in rotifer cultivation (Hoff & Snell, 2004; Rodriguez et al, 1994; Wang et al, 2003), especially activated baker's yeast which cannot cause excessive bacterial growth and rapid deterioration of water quality (Cheng et al, 2001; Hoff & Snell, 2004; Wang et al, 2003). So the use of CME in combination with suspending yeast solution (SYS) may be able to enhance the reproduction of rotifers and maintain a better cultural environment (Rasdi et al, 2020). However, yeast‐fed rotifers usually have low nutritional value, and juvenile fish fed with yeast‐fed rotifers lead to low survival and growth due to nutritional deficiency (Eryalçın, 2019; Penglase et al, 2011).…”
