<em>With the 21st century constant changes and demands, heated debate on ways to enhance Moroccan EFL students’ autonomy has sparked the interest of stakeholders. Although learner-centered teaching has been recommended in the past few years, teacher-centered instructional styles are; however, predominating in real teaching-learning practices. Autonomous learning skills and self-directed learning are needed in the twenty-first century, and project-based learning is a way to respond to that requirement. The purpose of this paper is to investigate if project-based learning could enhance the autonomy of learners in a Moroccan EFL context. Similarly, this research aims at interviewing the presenters’ peers on their performance; a method whereby they could develop critical thinking skills. To achieve this purpose, data was collected through a self-assessment questionnaire and a semi-structured interview. The participants were a classroom of 17 Secondary (2nd baccalaureate) school students. Results demonstrated that project-based learning enhances learner autonomy and responded to the demands of the 21st century skills. Likewise, based on the findings, learners managed to improve their autonomy during the implementation of project-based learning, and levels of autonomy vary among learners. Future researchers need to take into consideration that not all learners maintain a positive view concerning project-based learning perhaps they are accustomed to teacher spoon-fed and hand hold; consequently, they become passive. To deal with this dilemma, teachers had better remind students repeatedly that project-based learning contributes in boosting their autonomy and prepares them for the post-graduation exigencies. </em>

Project-based learning is a learning model that uses projects or activities as learning media. The results of the analysis stated that more than 50% of students experience learning difficulties due to the lack of printed learning resources. This study aims to determine the characteristics, attractiveness and effectiveness of the development of project-based IPAS modules to increase the learning creativity of students of SMKN 1 Gedongtataan. This research is an R&D (research and development) development research because it develops a product and tests the effectiveness of the product, using a quantitative and qualitative approach to the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) the results of the study concluded that learning creativity can be useful for students later when facing work in the real world. Learning creativity can provide provisions for students to be able to face challenges in the future, because creativity is one of the abilities that must be possessed by students in facing the challenges of the 21st century. The effectiveness of using the product developed in the IPAS Project learning subject on the material of living things and their environment based on the results of the normalized gain average of 0.6297 with moderate criteria means that the project-based module effectively increases the learning creativity of students with moderate categories.

This article discusses the importance of innovation in vocational technology education as an effort to build a generation of experts who are competent in facing the challenges of the digital era. In the context of rapid technological development, vocational technology education needs to adapt to remain relevant to the demands of modern industry. This article highlights several key aspects of vocational technology education innovation, including curriculum adaptation relevant to industry developments, the application of practical and project-based learning, the utilization of technology in the learning process, collaboration with industry, as well as the development of soft skills. Through this innovative approach, it is expected that vocational technology education is able to produce graduates who not only have strong technical skills, but are also able to adapt, innovate, and contribute significantly in the ever-evolving world of work.
