The doctoral program in school psychology at the University of South Carolina.

Abstract: A school psychologist is a scientist-practitioner who applies the scientific method in solving psychological and educational problems exhibited by children in school, at home, and/or in community settings. In this role, the school psychologist functions as an advocate, consultant, counselor, educator, diagnostician, researcher, and therapist in the child's primary environment with the objective of promoting human welfare within these settings.
