Background and AimAnxiety, stress, and depressive disorders as common mental health problems have adverse effects in different populations. Holy Quran recitation and listening can help reduce these disorders. Therefore, the aim of this study was to investigate the effect of the Holy Quran on anxiety, stress, and depression.Materials and MethodsTo retrieve eligible studies, we searched PubMed, Web of Science, and Scopus databases. The articles were screened and chosen by three researchers. The selection of studies and the data extraction from the studies were done by three researchers using the data collection form based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Disagreements were resolved by consulting the third and fourth researchers. To report scoping review, we used the PRISMA cheklist.ResultsA total of 174 articles were retrieved from three databases and after removing irrelevant and repetitive articles, 15 articles were included in the current review. All studies were performed in Asia countries. Most studies have examined the effect of Holy Quran recitation and listening on anxiety (45%), stress (30%), and then depression (25%), respectively. The Beck Depression Inventory was the most widely used tool to evaluate the effect of Holy Quran recitation and listening on reducing anxiety, depression and stress. “Reducing the level of anxiety, stress, and depression” and “Simple, affordable, practical and cost‐effective treatment to reduce depression and anxiety” were the most important outcomes of holy Quran recitation.ConclusionsBased on the results of this study, Quran recitation and listening can be applied as a useful nonpharmacological treatment to reduce anxiety, stress, and depression.

The purpose of this project is to find out how contextual model learning can be used to teach moderate Islam. Islamic education is a collection of coordinated activities designed to get students excited and ready to learn in accordance with the learning objectives. Teachers of Islamic education must use model learning that is designed to maximize the potential held by participating educators to correctly achieve objective learning. A contextual learning methodology can assist students in integrating Islamic moderation values, which is one of the learning objectives of Islamic education. Using a qualitative methodology, this inquiry was conducted. Researchers should be able to understand, observe, and perform studies regarding in-depth Islamic moderation learning through contextual model learning more correctly with the use of a qualitative technique. The study's findings suggest that: 1) Implementing Islamic education can improve students' cognitive comprehension of Islamic moderation principles. 2) Implementing Islamic education can improve students' affective features to understand moderation in Islam by using contextual learning methods. 3) By using contextual learning techniques in Islamic education, students can absorb moderate Islamic views.

The teachings of Sufism play an essential role in balancing human life. Sufism can practically be the driving force to provide peace, coolness, and friendliness to create religious and social harmony. This study aims to explain the values of religious moderation education reflected in the concepts of wahdat al-Wujud and wahdat asy-Syuhud. This study used qualitative methodology with a literature approach. The primary sources are taken from two books: wahdat al-Wujud 'Inda Ibn Arabi by Abdul Karim Ibn Abdul Jalil and Ibn al-Faridh wa al-Hubb al-Ilahi by Muhammad Mustafa Hilmi, while the secondary ones are references taken from journals, books, and other writings that explain Islamic moderation, philosophical Sufism, and educational values. The results showed that the concept of monotheism carried by Ibn Arabi’s wahdat al-Wujud and Ibn al-Faridh’s wahdat asy-Syuhud, in the context of the issues of religious moderation, does not only discuss a single divinity, but it also offers five ideas: (1) equality of relationship between people, (2) human rights, (3) tolerance in religious plurality, (4) harmony in religious life, and (5) values of Islamic moderation Education.
