This study was a step toward the creation of an e-module to creat flips book-based exposition texts for junior high schools. The purpose of this study was to offer an examination of students' demands when creating exposition papers. A survey was used for the investigation. The data for this inquiry was gathered through a questionnaire. In this study, a Likert scale was utilized to examine students' attitudes, opinions, and perceptions of the built electronic module. This research made use of a checklist-style questionnaire with a range of assessments of 1 to 5. The questionnaire was distributed to students from four junior high schools. This sampling technique was based on the sampling quota established by the researcher. The data analysis technique involved converting the category value into an assessment score and examining the result. According to the findings, 61.5% of students had difficulties in interpreting the material of exposition text, and the rest of 80.1% desired that the exposition text writing content be presented using entertaining, interactive, and innovative learning methods. This showed the need for the preparation of electronic modules for writing flip book-based exposition texts.

This study aims to investigate the influence of Indonesian instructional books with a scientific approach on students' learning outcomes in scientific writing viewed from their academic ability. This is quasi-experimental research design. Techniques used to collect data were tests in form of multiple choice and essay, observations, and documentations. Before conducting t-test, the researchers conducted a prerequisite test. Its results for the influence of Indonesian instructional books with a scientific approach on students' learning outcomes showed significance values of 0.314 in cognitive domain, 0.032 in psychomotor domain, and 0.038 in affective domain. The results for the influence of academic ability on learning outcomes showed significance values of 0.065 in cognitive domain, 0.969 in psychomotor domain, and 0.528 in affective domain. The results for the interactions between of Indonesian instructional books with a scientific approach on students' and academic ability on cognitive, psychomotor. The conclusions of this study are: 1) Indonesian instructional books with a scientific approach influences students' learning outcomes in form of psychomotor and affective domains; 2) the academic skill does not influence students' learning outcomes in scientific writing, and 3) the interactions between Indonesian instructional books with scientific approach and academic ability have no effect on students' learning outcomes in scientific writing. It is recommended that Indonesian instructional books with a scientific approach can be developed to measure higher order thinking skills.

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan penggunaan media poster bergambar dalam peningkatan kemampuan membaca anak usia 5-6 tahun. Penelitian dilaksanakan di TK Putri Serang pada tahun 2022, dengan populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa TK Putri Serang, sedangkan sampel penelitian adalah 30 siswa kelas TK B. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu dokumentasi, observasi. Instrumen obseryang digunakan adalah tes kemampuan membaca anak usia dini dengan indikator yang meliputi: 1) mandiri dalam membaca, 2) membaca kata sederhana, 3) memahami bacaan, 4) mengucapkan huruf vokal dan konsonan. Penelitian ini menggunakan uji prasyarat yaitu uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas, dengan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji t. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukan bahwa thitung ttabel yaitu 2,780 1,701 maka diperoleh kesimpulan media poster efektif digunakan dalam penignkatan kemampuan membaca anak usia 5-6 tahun. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa penggunaan poster sebagai media untuk merangsang kemampuan berbicara anak efektif.
